Introduction
Since August 1999 I'm a PhD student at the Department of Mathematical Statistics at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences at Lund Institute of Technology. It is situated in the city of Lund in the very south of Sweden only 25 km from Copenhagen in Denmark. I've got a Master's degree in Computer Science and my interests are statistical problems in cDNA microarray analysis and Graphical models. To get an idea of my background, please see my academic record (pdf, ps) and my occupational experience (pdf, ps).
My supervisors in Lund are Jan Holst and Ola Hössjer and we are part of the Bioinformatics Group at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences.
I am also the author of the original, free and still supported printf for Java. The package has all the features that can be found in the C-language. Thanks to thousands of users I now believe that the package is bug free. I am also working on an object-oriented add-on layer for the [R] language for the purpose of making cDNA microarray analysis for end users simplier (cf. [R] packages)
